Victor and I were able to make a little escape to our friend Kristen's cabin. It was a whole 28 hours of NO KIDS! We had a fabulous time although we did miss those little demons and were happy to get home and see them.
We have also found a new love. . . snowshoeing! We tried it for the first time while we were on our little escape and it is fabulous. Victor and I were recently checking out the snowshoes at Costco and debating if we should just buy them. We decided we had better try it first before making a purchase, but I think we would have been just fine it we would have taken home then! The scenery at the cabin was beautiful and strapping on the snowshoes was a great way walk around and enjoy it. I can't wait for our next snowshoe adventure!
Ready to go! Karen, Vic, me, and Lynn.
Victor and me- and half of Lynn's dog Snoopy. Check out the stunning background!Kristen, Tiffany, and myself all have birthdays that are just a few days apart. I think you could fit a basketball in my mouth when I saw it and my jaw dropped to the floor. I just couldn't believe the size of the cake Kristen brought! I don't even want to imagine how calories were in it. That cake sure was yummy!
We had other obligations at home and had to leave earlier than we would have liked, but it was a fabulous little trip. Thanks sooooo much Kristen! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTEN AND TIFFANY!
